NudgeOnn is a private, on-device app for one-time and repeating reminders. This page covers common notification and data-management questions for version 1.0.

Notification troubleshooting
If a reminder did not appear or make a sound:
- Open iOS Settings and confirm notification permission is enabled for NudgeOnn.
- Check whether Silent Mode is enabled.
- Check whether a Focus mode is delaying or silencing notifications.
- Confirm Sounds are enabled in NudgeOnn’s iOS notification settings and check the device alert volume.
- Open the item and confirm its selected reminder date and time.
NudgeOnn uses local notifications and a custom sound included in the app. iOS controls final notification and sound delivery, so delivery cannot be guaranteed.
Managing Nudges
What reminder styles are available?
Once sends the primary notification only. Follow Up adds one follow-up if the item is unfinished. Until Done adds further follow-ups while the item remains unfinished.
What actions can I take?
You can complete, reopen, snooze, reschedule, or delete items. Notification actions also let you complete or snooze, and tapping a notification opens its associated item.
Why is an item under Items need your attention?
That section brings unresolved or overdue items into view so you can take action.
Deleting an item
On the Today, Upcoming, or Completed list, swipe left on the item and tap Delete. This removes that item from the app and cancels its associated pending notifications.
Deleting all local app data
Delete NudgeOnn from your iPhone to remove all locally stored application data. NudgeOnn has no account or remote copy from which to restore those items.
Privacy
NudgeOnn stores items locally using SwiftData. Reminder functionality requires no account, login, subscription, purchase, backend, or internet connection, and the app uses no advertising, analytics, tracking, third-party SDKs, or external APIs.
