PasswordClue
Terms of Use
Last updated: August 30, 2026
Purpose
PasswordClue is a password-reminder utility that lets you create personal clues. It is not a password manager, credential vault, password generator, authentication service, or recovery service. It stores the clue text you choose to enter and is not designed for actual credentials.
Your responsibility
Never enter an actual password or other sensitive credential. You are responsible for choosing clues that are useful to you but do not disclose or reconstruct a password for someone else. The app’s password-like text warning is advisory and cannot identify every unsafe entry.
Local storage and loss
Data stays on the original device, is excluded from backups, does not synchronize, and cannot be recovered by the developer. You accept the risk that clues will be permanently unavailable if the device is lost, damaged, erased, replaced, or if data is deleted.
Security limitations
No software or device is guaranteed to be secure. Device authentication and privacy covers reduce exposure but do not prevent every form of access, photography, screenshot, recording, or disclosure. You are responsible for maintaining device security.
Availability and changes
The app is provided without a promise that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Features may change through updates. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for loss of clues, credentials, access, data, profit, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app.
